Description

The Pentagon Renovation Office, intends to negotiated with Singleton Electrical Company, Inc. 7860 Cessna Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 to continue electrical work on Wedge 1 of the Pentagon for work outside the scope of the current construction contract for Wedge 1. This work is necessary to accommodate changes to tenant requirements that were unknown at the time the plans and designs were done for the construction contract and to allow turnover of responsibility for Wedge 1 of the Pentagon to the building manager. The Government intends to solicite and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (10 USC 2304(c)(1)). All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service internet address: http:www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be submitted no later than August 27, 2001, 4:00 p.m., local time to the Contracting Officer cited above.
