Description

The proposed work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to remove existing roofing and install new single ply roofing system (white, scrim reinforced ethylene propylene based elastometric sheet roofing membrane and system accessories) on school buildings at Chuska School, Chuska, Mew Mexico, Cove School, Cove, Arizona, Sanostee School, Sanostee, New Mexico, and Teec Nos Pos School, Teec Nos Pos, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation in the States of Arizona and New Mexico. Verification of actual dimensions, materials, angles (skew) alignments, existing elevation and all existing conditions shall be the sole responsibility of the bidders. Invitation for Bid Number N00-01-15, Bid Opening Date: September 18, 2001 at 2:00 P.M./Local Time at Place of Bid Opening. This project is Total Set-Aside for Small Business Concern and is a Labor Surplus Area-Set Aside. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Section 7(B) of PL 93-638 (U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 require that preference opportunities in employment and training to be given to Indian/Alaska Native Individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native Economic Enterprises. Failure by the Contractor to submit a plan for doing so prior award and implement same after award shall be sufficient reason for non-award for termination of the contract for default.
