Description

Furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision for Project Number 552-00-263, to Replace Motor Controls, at the VA Medical Center (VAMC), 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428. All work is to be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications provided. Work shall include removal of old motor control centers and installation of new in various buildings at the VAMC, to include keeping necessary equipment running throughout the project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 233320. The small business size standard is $27.5 Million. The estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The Contractor willb e required to submit pay protection equipl to 100% fot he contract amount. The issue date for bid packages is Auguest 20, 2001. The bid opening is September 20, 2001 at 2:00pm, Eastern Standard Time (EST),in Bulding 408, Conference Room. All requests for bid packages including (drawings and specs) must be submitted in writing, on the Firm's letterhead and contain the company's full name, point of contact, address, telephone and fax numbers, solicitation/project numbers. ONE COPY PER REQUESTOR, FAXED requests will be accepted (937-262-5974). It si the requestor's responsibility to follow up on package receipt. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE HONORED. All requests must be accompanied by a NON-REFUNDABLE $75.00 payment made out to "VA MEDICAL CENTER AGENT CASHIER" All payments for bid packages must be in the form of a Cashier's Check, Certifed Check or Money Order, NO Personal Checks. There is a limited number of bid packages and they will be issued on a first come, first service basis.
