Description

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above or it may be accessed at http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. NASA/KSC plans to acquire: ITEM NO. 1 -- 19" Rackmount Chassis (RMS-565ATX CHASSIS) or EQUIVALENT, Quantity: 10 each; ITEM NO. 2 -- Cable Sets for KVM 3 Port (PS2 Mouse/ Key/ Video) or EQUIVALENT, Quantity: 32 each; ITEM NO. 3 -- RMK-518 Black (1U LCD-keyboard Drawer with built-in 8- port KVM Switch) or EQUIVALENT, Quantity: 2 each; ITEM NO. 4 -- 19" 2U Rackmount Chassis (RMS-6120ATX) or EQUIVALENT, Quantity: 4 each; ITEM NO. 5 -- Single board Computer (SBC -- 3732VES) or EQUIVALENT,Quantity: 4 each; ITEM NO. 6 -- ATX Power Supply 300 W ATX 400HZ (PSPCATXN9) or EQUIVALENT, Quantity: 3 each. DELIVERY -- Delivery must be F.O.B. Destination to NASA, Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on or before September 31, 2001. Line Item #5: Single Board Computer (SBC -- 3732VES) Card or EQUIVALENT Dual 1Ghz Pentium III 4 Meg RAM, Dual Socket- 370 FCPGA, 4-DIMM (2 GB MAX), dual 10/100BT LAN, UW 53C1010R SCSI.
