Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Doculabs, 201 W. Harrison St., 3rd Floor Chicago, IL 60607, for contracting support to develop an Electronic Commerce strategy to streamline the Agency?s internal accounts payable process. SSA requires contractor assistance in requirements assessment and solution comparison to develop a strategy to implement an integrated document imaging and Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) system. The contracting firm must have hands on experience in researching, testing and evaluating Electronic Commerce products and solutions for accounting and invoice processing and bill presentment and payment. This research, testing and evaluation must be performed in the contracting firm?s laboratories and must be open to any company with the ability to provide the resources required during the testing of their Electronic Commerce product. SSA knows of no other company that performs open, independent testing and analysis of document imaging and EBPP products in the market place. Note 22.
