Description

Procurement of an annual service contract for non-personal services for maintenance of Honeywell security system protecting classified materials and equipment housed in buildings 226, 231, and 249 of the Electronic Warfare Directorate in accordance with the Statement of Work and Equipment List. Period of Performance: 01 Nov 2001- 31 Oct 2002. See Note 22. Solicitation will be posted to FEDBIZOPPS no later than 29 August 2001. Responses will be due no later than 5:00 PM, 28 Sep 2001. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
