Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F09609-01-Q-0026 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. Dobbins Air Reserve Base, (Marietta) Georgia is soliciting for the acquisition of mail essentials for 17 exchange sites, 5 IMC, 25,000 Mailboxes to be shipped to one site. CLIN 0001: 1 (each) PART NO: MEX2500, Mail Essentials for Exchange v3.5 -- 2500; CLIN 0002: 4 (each) PART NO: MEX5000U, Mail Essentials for Exchange v3.5 -- Add 5000 users; CLIN 0003: 1 (each) PART NO: MEX2500U, Mail Essentials for Exchange v3.5 -- Add 2500 users; CLIN 0004: 17 (each) PART NO: MEXSITE50, Mail Essentials for Exchange v3.5 -- Add site -- 50 users; CLIN 0005: 5 (each) PART NO: MESERV, Mail Essentials for Exchange v3.5-Additional Server (Single Site); CLIN 0006: 1 (each) PART NO: MERSMAN, Maintenance Agreement -- Mail Essentials with 1 year renewable. Period of performance shall be 30 days from contract award date. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this procurement is 3577; size standard 1,000 employees. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside and will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, shall apply along with Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Evaluation of quotes will be in accordance with FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, are based on price and technical evaluation of product information furnished with the quote. Quotes shall include a completed copy of FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, shall apply with addenda DFARS 252.232-7009, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (CCR). Far clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, shall be incorporated into any contract resulting from this notice. Applicable clauses cited in 52.212-5 are 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.225-3 and 52.222-41, as well as Department of Labor Wage Determination 94-2133 (Rev 18) dated 09/14/2000.
