Description

The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Lakeside Ranger Districts, Navajo County, Arizona requires to perform mechnical disposal of tree thinning slash by chipping, grinding, chunking or removal from National Forest Land there by reducing the hazardous fuel situation on 2 blocks, totaling an estimated 371 acres. The project area can be reached from Lakeside, Arizona, by proceeding to Porter Mountain Road from Highway 260 and traveling approximately 4 miles to Forest Road 9722. Travel down Forest Road 9722 approximately .1 of a mile to Forest Road 9712. Continue south and east on Forest Road 9712 to Block B1. This solicitation going as "Performance Based Service Contract." Plans and specifications will be available on or about Wednesday, August 22, 2001. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $99,999.
