Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to inspect and repair thirteen (13) each Vosper Thornycraft Rudder and Fin Stabilizers, P/N F2120901, Stock Number 2040-99-726-4768. The Rudder and Fin Stabilizers shall be repaired in accordance with Coast Guard Specification Number R-565-0380, and Coast Guard Drawing Numbers 110B-WPB-565-001D, and 110B-WPB-562-1. The referenced drawings shall be provided on CD-Rom. Contractor shall be required to provide all labor and materials necessary to accomplish said repairs. All welding shall be accomplished in accordance with the standards of AWS D1.1 or D1.3 as applicable. Under the resultant award, the Government shall provide a Fin Hold down Nut, Fin Stock Nut, and Rudder Lock Nut as Government Furnished Property. Interested sources shall be able to access the RFQ on or about 15 August 2001 via FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. The drawings referenced in this Notice shall not be available from this website. Interested sources must fax in a request for copies of the drawings to Kelly Wyatt at (410) 762-6056. The due date established for receipt of quotations shall be no later than 5 September 2001. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Electronic submission of quotations, via email only, is not acceptable. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business.
