Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to overhaul two (2) each Philadelphia Gear rotary pumps, Stock No. 4320-01-132-7140, Philadelphia Gear Part No. 46123R251RH. Solicitation No. DTCG40-01-Q-50136 will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 811310 and the dollar amount is $ 5.0 million. It is the Government's belief that ONLY Philadelphia Gear (OEM), and/or their authorized distributors, can restore the rotary pumps to their operating and performance characteristics, "original" design and technical specifications. It is the Government's intention to solicit only the OEM, and/or their authorized distributors. The Government does not possess the necessary technical and engineering data or drawings to supply with the RFQ. This information is proprietary to the OEM. Interested, responsible sources, that can provide the overhaul requested, may submit a quotation, which shall be evaluated. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD. The RFQ package shall be available on or about 14 August 2001. Interested contractors should request the RFQ package via fax in writing to Mrs. Dreszer (410) 762-6056 or via E-mail cdreszer@elcbalt.uscg.mil. The closing date for receipt of responses shall be no later than 29 August 2001. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. See Numbered Note 22.
