Description

The St. Louis Housing Authority (SLHA) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform major repairs to nine (9) geared passenger elevators at seven (7) different buildings at the Cochran Development. The buildings are at 1121 N. 7th Street; 1311 N. 8th Street; 1112 N. 8th Street; 1121 N. 8th Street; 1112 N. 9th Street; 1206 N. 9th Street; and 1228 N. 9th Street. Solicitation documents will be available for pick up in the SLHA's Procurement Section, 4100 Lindell Boulevard, 3rd Floor, St. Louis MO 63108 starting Monday, August 13, 2001. There will be a $25.00 non-refundable fee, by cashier's check or money order, charged for each set of specifications made payable to the SLHA. A Pre-Bid conference is scheduled for Friday, August 24, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the 3rd Floor Conference Room at 4100 Lindell Blvd. There will be a site visit immediately following the pre-bid conference. The SLHA will receive sealed bids for this service until 3:00 p.m. (Local Time), September 7, 2001, at the St. Louis Housing Authority, Procurement Section, Third Floor, 4100 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis MO 63108, at which time and place all qualified bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bidders must comply with Section 3 and MBE/WBE requirements. Bidders not in the St. Louis area may call 314/286-4234 during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. (local time) for instructions on obtaining the solicitation documents.
