Description

The Government intends to negotiate a two year extension comprising of two each one-year option periods under an existing Contract for Health Care services in TRICARE California/Hawaii Region 9/10/12. The periods of performance for these Option periods are as follows: Option Period 8 -- 1 April 2003 through 31 March 2004; Option Period 9 -- 1 March 2004 through 31 March 2005. The Health Care services include all functions to provide comprehensive managed care; including development of provider networks, claims processing, financing, and integration into the military's direct care system to serve all beneficiaries in the region. TRICARE California/Hawaii Region 9/10/12 comprises the states of California and Hawaii. The existing Contract, number MDA906-95-C-0007, is with Health Net Federal Services, Inc.
