Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA intends to procure, on a competitive basis, VME-3U RF1 Circuit Card Assemblies. The VME-3U RF1 Circuit Card Assembly is used in the Government developed and fabricated ECM/EA Technique Generator to generate electronic countermeasures techniques. The VME-3U RF1 Circuit Card Assembly shall be fabricated in accordance with NAWCWD Statement of Work, NAWCWD Performance Specification 13672-ATS-678 and NAVAIR Envelope Drawing 1611AS12357. The RF1 Card is a radio frequency (RF) control assembly that controls the amplitude and phase of the RF signals in multiple channels. In addition the RF1 card provides the switching of these signals between the multiple channels. The RF1 card shall function in the environment described in the performance specification. The contract will include incidental Engineering and Technical Support Services and Repair Services. It is anticipated that this contract will be awarded during the period 01 DEC 2001 through 28 FEB 2002. It is planned to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with Delivery Order 0001 being issued concurrent with award. Delivery Order 0001 will meet the contract's minimum order requirements. Delivery orders will be issued for a five year period with pricing based on 5 one year ordering periods. Pricing of the VME-3U RF1 Circuit Card Assemblies will be on a fixed price basis. Pricing for the Engineering and Technical Support Services and the Repair Services will be on a time and material (T&M) basis. Total contract quantities for the VME-3U RF1 Circuit Card Assemblies are 1 each First Article Unit and 1 lot First Article Testing OR 1 each initial order unit (first article waived), and in addition for each ordering periods up to100 each IDIQ Production Units and 1 lot IDIQ Technical Data, 1 lot IDIQ Engineering and Technical Support Services, and 1 lot IDIQ Repair Services. Delivery of all VME-3U RF1 Circuit Card Assemblies shall be FOB destination to Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA 93042. First Article Testing shall be completed no later than 270 days after issuance of Delivery and delivery of the First Article unit shall be 45 days after approval of the First Article Test Report. Delivery of 1 each initial order unit shall be no later than 270 days after issuance of Delivery Order. Delivery of IDIQ production units shall be at a minimum rate of 3 each per month to commence no later than 180 days after issuance of Delivery Order. Deliver Technical data as specified in the basic contract's CDRL. The Period of performance for the Engineering and Technical Support Services and Repair Services shall be as specified in the individual delivery orders.
