Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Combat Support Logistics Equipment Directorate, intends to acquire, through unrestricted competition, up to 150 deployable, containerized Field Food Service Systems beginning in FY2002. The system will consist of both a food preparation (kitchen) and sanitation capability housed in deployable ISO-shelters. Commercial appliances, components, and sub-systems will be employed to the maximum practical extent. The resulting ID/IQ contract will consist of one (1) base and four (4) option periods, for a total of five (5) years. Multiple contract awards will not be made. The anticipated immediate quantity is seventy-five (75) FFSS's with an average delivery order quantity of fifteen (15) units, although this may vary over the performance period. Delivery orders will be issued throughout the duration of the contract until the maximum quantity is reached. This acquisition is competitive commercial and all responsible sources may submit an offer for consideration. Estimated solicitation issue date is the first week of September 2001.
