Description

The Energy Information Administration (EIA), Department of Energy Headquarters in Washington, D.C. intends to extend a contract with Standard & Poor's Data Resources Inc. (DRI), Washington, D.C. for continuing access for Fiscal Year 2002 to the following information services: Basic U.S. Economic Service, U.S. Macro Dataport, Comprehensive World Markets Service, World Energy Service, Natural Gas Price Outlook, U.S. Industry, International Forecast Dataport, International Historic Dataport and Ad Hoc Data Package. The extended period of performance will be for one additional year with three one-year options. This proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but is an announcement for subcontracting opportunities only. No solicitation document is available for this acquisition. Interested parties may identify their interest and capacity to respond to this requirement or to submit capability statements. All proposals received in 15 calendar days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
