THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: REVISED SOW & QUASP IS ATTACHED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested for . The solicitation number is F29650-01-R-9001 for the Logistics Material Control Activity (LMCA). The request for proposal (RFP) can be accessed at the web site www.eps.gov. This acquisition is restricted to 8(a) firms only. The scheduled performance period for this project will be a one-year basic performance period plus four 1-year options. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, material, supervision and services necessary to perform the management and operation of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Logistics Material Control Activity (LMCA) at Kirtland AFB. The work will consist of the following general functions: maintenance of equipment authorized accountability requirements (Inventory Management), maintenance of Automated Material Control System (AMCS) requirements (Inventory Records), maintenance of the Information Processing Management System (IPMS), Automatic Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) records; processing of requests for supplies and equipment, and distribution of materials. This is a best value, firm fixed priced solicitation. SIC Code 8744, NAICS Code 561210, with a Size Standard of $5.0 million. The RFP must be filled out in accordance with the Proposal Requirements addressed on pages 33 thru 37 in the solicitation.
