Description
The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB CA, soliciting offerors for classroom up grade for the 534TH Training Squadron on VAFB CA to purchase and install projector and electronic presentation system as listed below. This is a combine synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04684-01T0541 and will be issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-27. This acquisition is a 100 % set-aside for small business participation only. The SIC Code is 3343and size standard is 750 There will be two (2) contract line items, one job, for this acquisition. The contractor is to purchase and install audiovisual system For 5 (five) classrooms for the 534TH Training Squadron on VAFB. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, transportation and supervision to provide the service in accordance with the Statement of Work listed below. Contractor shall show breakdown of cost for equipment and material with a total amount of the bid. The Contractor shall provide audio-visual equipment in accordance with Statement of Work listed below. Contractor shall install all elements of the audio-visual system, to include ceiling mount of the projection systems, and installation of the Mimio white board interface, the sound system, and the switching interface system. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all cabling required powering all equipment and completing all connections to each source. Cabling shall be hidden from view. The Contractor shall retrofit the classroom to fit the application-e.g. moving and mounting existing white boards and/or screens to the correct configuration. These systems will modernize five (5) classrooms and enhance training capabilities in Building 9334. The government will furnish all white boards and screens. The government has already installed electrical circuit in ceiling. Warranty of work and equipment must be identified within the quote. Line Item 0001- Each of the five classrooms will consist of 1 (one) each of the following: Projection System:=20 MFG- Epson, 7600 XGA, Part Number- EMP760 2200 Lumens LCD projector minimum 3-year on-site maintenance or next day replacement Ceiling mounted (brackets, false ceiling connectors)=20 White Board Reality Interface: =20 Mimio white board interface with Mimiomouse 2.1 (USB or Serial) Sound System: Stereo sound sufficient to fill the classroom space Switching Interface System: Three A/V Input-2 VGA and 1 RCA Single point switching, either portable remote or stationary system Must switch audio and video at the same time with one button push The following information applies to each classroom: Once the systems installed, it will be expected to accommodate one (1) LAN accessible computer (already existing) and one (1) emulator suite (already existing) in addition to one (1) VCR (already existing). The sound systems can be wall or ceiling mounted, or integrated into the projector providing that it creates clear levels of sound to be acceptable to the instructors. The screen will be mounted in front of the white board and does not need to be automatically deployed or retracted. The Mimio's will be permanently mounted to each of the white board and the wiring will be hidden in the wall and run to the pre-determined computer location. The switching interface can be either a centrally located wall mounted device or integrated into the projector so that the projector remote can be used. If the projector remote is used for switching, any additional functionality in the projector remote will need to be implemented such as computer mouse functionality. Line Item 0002- 4 (four) each. : Mimio System Do not need to be installed -- -only extra systems. The Provisions at FAR 52.212-1 "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial,"with the following addenda applies to this acquisition: Offerors shall submit past performance data consisting of three recent and relevant contracts with their offer. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2 "Evaluation-Commercial Items" applies to this acquisition. Insert in Para (a), "The following factors will be used to evaluate offers, (1) price and (2) past performance. Offerors must submit with their quotes a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 "Offeror Representations Certifications-Commercial Items" The clause at FAR 52.212.4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition along with the following addenda: FAR 52.219-8 "Notice to Total Small Business set-aside.
