Description

17. The United States Special Operations Command is soliciting technical support and procurement of foreign material. The Contractor shall possess the ability to locate and procure foreign material of all types; including but not limited to ammunition, weapons, mines, technical data, communication equipment, and spare parts. The material is non standard to the United States of America. The technical expertise will include assessment of material for quality and identification of reliable sources overseas and within the U.S. for safe material. Material procurements may be repetitive, with varying quantities, and may require rapid delivery. Safety certification required for material. The Government anticipates award of an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a period of performance from the date of award through 30 Sep 02, with one option for an ordering period of 4 years. This procurement is set aside for small business firms. The solicitation will be available electronically only.
