Description

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) anticipates modifying existing Contract 50-PAPT-6-00041 with Dovala, Urba nscik and Larson (DUL) for USPTO's desktop workstations to extend the period of performance for three, two-month option peri ods beginning on August 23, 2001. The contract extension is to provide for continuity of products and continuation of servi ces pending completion of proposal evaluations and award of the follow-on procurement (SMART2001 competition), and will be i n accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source can satisfy the requirement. The follow-on acquisition is curren tly in progress, therefore, NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE ISSUED for the extension.
