Description

The Northern District of Alabama, United States Marshals Service (USMS), is seeking small business concerns who can provide towing, inside and outside storage, and maintenance of seized/forfeited vehicles. Location of the storage site MUST be within 25 miles of the USMS office at 1729 5th Avenue North, Birmingham, Alabama. It is the intent of the USMS to award a purchase order for one year with a one-year option. The total amount is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold of $100,000.00 for the entire contract period including the option. All RFQs must be received by midnight August 30, 2001. Requests for Quote number 01-RFQ-001 must be in WRITING and may be faxed to 205-731-0220. Telephone requests WILL NOT be honored. The standard Industrial Classification Code is 7549 and the business size standard is five million dollars.
