Description

The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, and supplies for maintenance dredging in designated area in the Oklahoma portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. Typical quantities to be dredged will be between 5,000 and 40,000 cubic yards. Typical material to be dredged will consist of sand and silt. No rock removal will be required. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 31, 2001, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plans, specifications, and planholders lists will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Requests for plans and specifications MUST BE MADE IN WRITING to the Contracting Division, Tulsa District, Corps of Engineers, 1645 S. 101st East Ave., Tulsa, OK 74128-4609; by fax at 918/669-7495; or via our Internet home page. No phone calls to order please. All orders will be mailed via first class mail. Requests for special handling (Fed-X, etc.) will not be honored.
