Description

17. Furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment and supervision as necessary to perform all work required to Install Addition of Waste Heat Boilers on #1 and #4 Incinerators in Bldg. 393, Fort Detrick, MD. Work includes but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, demolition, general construction, remove steam hot water generator and associated piping, controls and supports, etc. Solicitation DAMD17-01-B-0009 will be issued on or about 30 August 2001 and open on or about 20 September 2001. NOTE: All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, that all Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. Because only forty (40) solicitation packages are available, requests will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is an unrestricted procurement (subject to PL 100-656, open to both small and large businesses and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program). The Standard Industrial Classified (SIC) Code for this procurement is 1711/ the North American Industry Classification System Code is 23511 with the size standard is $11.5 Million in average annual receipts. Any resulting award will be a firm-fixed price contract.
