Description

Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to replace the existing underground electric service to apartment units. The project is to relace the existing 7200 volt single phase direct buried service. The new service will be 12. 47 Kvolt, three phase with only one phase and neutral being used at this time for the existing 100kva single phase transformer. The two spare conductors will be for future use. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000 .00. This will be a firm-fixed price contract subject to the availability of funds. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 235310 with a small business size standard of $7 mill ion for three (3) preceding fiscal years. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 29, 2001. Bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive award. All requests for this RFQ should be in writing and reference the Solicitation Number: DABT19-01-Q-1026. Contractors shall include complete company name, mailing address, phone and fax numbers, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), business size (small or large business), cage code , DUNS number, and Zip Code + 4.
