Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) has a requirement to replace the electrical service panel board and related feeder panels located in the main Warehouse building at NIFC. The panel has no available spaces for new feeder disconnects. The subpanels are aged (25 years) and are in need of replacement. Work shall consist of: (a)furnishing all labor, equipment, appliances, and materials, (b) performing all operations in connection with installation of all electrical service work, (c) providing panels (7 each), (d) providing one year warranty on materials and workmanship, (e) providing manuals, (f) labeling all switches, breakers, pushbuttons, panel boards, etc., and (g) color coding secondary service, feeder, and branch circuit conductors. All work shall be completed by November 16, 2001. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and NAICS 23531 (SIC 1731), Electrical Contractors applies. The small business size standard is $11.5 million for the past three fiscal years. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used for award and Davis-Bacon labor rates apply. The NIFC complex is located in Boise, Ada County, Idaho. The estimated value of this requirement is less than $100,000. Only written offers will be accepted and it is anticipated award will be made by September 30, 2001.
