Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for a Raymond EASI 24 Volt R30TT Fork lift truck series or equal, a Battery (12-125-11), and a Battery charger. If the Raymond brand is not provided an equal pro duct must be provided that meets the following salient characteristics: The truck must have: Fork length-42? standard, 34? b aseleg opening, Baselegs straddle with 4? X 2.88? load wheels, Mast lift limits at 72? fork height, 3,000 pound capacity. An over-head guard is not required. Included must be a manual with operations, parts, and maintenance instructions. Battery c overs for 14.12? compartment, battery should be maintenance free-600 Amps per hour. The simplified acquisition procedures se t forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only s olicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 08-01-47. The total quantity is one each. Delivery shall be made within ninety ( 90) days after receipt of purchase order. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to the BEP Loading Dock at ?D? Street, Betw een 13th and 14th Sts., S.W. Washington, D.C. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations ma y be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax numb er, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned bus iness). If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. If other than the brand name is p roposed, complete documentation describing the proposed model must be provided.
