Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to solicit and negotiate with Hydroacoustic Technoloy, Inc. of Seattle, Washington, for purchase of the following equipment: Model 290 Acoustic Tag Receiver for 8 hydrophones Model 590 Hydrophone (300kHz, 330 degree beam width) Model 690 -- 100 Hydrophone Cable, 100 ft. Model 690 -- 500 Hydrophone Cable, 500 ft. Model 490-S Acoustic Tag Programmer, PC-based Model 491 Acoustic Tag Detector, PC-based Acoustic Tag software (data entry and 3-D display) Model 790 Acoustic Tag THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; NO COMPETITIVE RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. This award will be made on or about the 5th calendar day from the date this announcement appears. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 421490. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid within five days after the date of publication of this announcement which will be considered by the Government. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the desecration of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. Numbered Note 1 applies.
