Description

The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date for which proposals are due from "27 August 2001" to "22 September 2001". This amendment also cancels, in its entirety, the Proposal Information Package (PIP) previously provided under the initial announcement published in the Commerce Business Daily on 15 May 2001. Technical and cost proposals are due no later than 2:00 PM, EST, on 21 September 2001. The BAA Proposal Information Package (PIP) located on the Autonomous Operations (AO) Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) web page at <http://www.onr.navy.mil/auto-ops/>; is cancelled in its entirety. A revised PIP will be posted at this site on or about 22 August 2001. Early submissions of full proposals are not encouraged at this time. Offerors should delay their full proposal submissions until they have had a chance to review the revised PIP. ONR encourages use of the World Wide Web (WWW) for retrieving the PIPand any other related information that may subsequently be provided. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the AO FNC web page to obtain any additional information regarding this annoucement.
