Description

The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command proposes to acquire, on a sole source basis from McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, 5000 East McDowell Road, Mesa, Arizona 85215-9797, Recapitalization Support Services for the AH-64 Apache helicopter. The scope of this delivery order requires Program Management, Engineering and Technical Support Services to convert 17 Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWRs) to National Maintenance Work Requirements (NMWRs). The Government intends to award a delivery order a gainst Basic Ordering Agreement DAAH23-98-G-0049 under the authority and justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. (c) (1), only one source or a limited number of sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. There is no techn ical data package and no solicitation will be issued. The period of performance is 12 months after receipt of order. All interested sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the contracting officer. See numbered Note 22.
