Description
The finished product shall be capable of functioning under or producing the following operating conditions: Gas type -- air or nitrogen (design point shall be air); Gas suction pressure -- atmospheric (14.7 Psia); Gas suction temperature -- 90 degrees Fahrenheit; Area Classification -- indoor, non hazardous; Compressor output B 60,000 Standard Cubic Feet per Hour (SCFH); Gas discharge pressure -- 700 psig; Interstage temperature -- less than or equal to 100 degrees Fahrenheit; Design elevation -- 1000 feet above sea level. Compressor requirements: Compressor type -- Knox Western Model Eagle 2245; Stroke -- 4.5 inch; Number of stages -- 2 ; pressor speed -- 880 RPM; er draw -- 192 BHP; Cylinders: 1st throw -- 8 inch double acting; 2nd throw B 5 inch double acting; Variable pockets on head end of each cylinder; Reinforced TFE piston and rider rings; Rod drop indicator on each cylinder; Adapter for base plate mounted oil filter; Motor driven prelube pump; Non-interchangeable valves; Crankcase heater; Single compartment (type B) distance pieces; Ion Nitride treatment on cylinders; 460 V/3 Ph/60 Hz 900 RPM, 200 HP TEFC premium efficient motor; Direct drive with coupling, flywheel and guard; Water cooled intercooler and aftercooler; Removable start up screen; Interstage and discharge separators with drain control Pulsation suppression; Oil piping with duplex oil filter with transfer valve, cooler and thermostatic valve Compressed air piping to ASME B31.3; Relief valves at the compressor suction and the end discharge of each stage; Automatic discharge blow down system, including silencer, for capacity control; Discharge to suction bypass system for capacity control; PLC base level controls, alarms, and shutdowns as follows: a. Compressor start/stop; b. Power on-off switch; c. High discharge temperature at each cylinder; d. High discharge pressure at each stage; e. High/low suction pressure; f. Low oil pressure; f. Compressor vibration; g. Emergency shutdown switch: Mounted on structural steel skid; Special tools. WSI 1000 SCREW COMPRESSOR SPECIFICATIONS: The Quincy screw compressor shall meet or exceed the requirements set forth by the following specifications; Compressor type B Quincy Model WSI 1000; Single stage rotary screw; 1010 standard cubic feet per minute; Maximum discharge pressure B 125 psig; 460 V/3 Ph/60 Hz 200 HP ODP electric motor; Water-cooled oil cooler; Water-cooled after cooler; Start/stop control panel. ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS: The following ancillary equipment shall be included in the compressor package: a. One general air particulate filter; b. One general air coalescing filter, c. One 42@ x 10ASME code stamped vertical air receiver with air gauge, manual drain valve and safety valve. DOCUMENT SUBMITTALS -- Documents: Welder certifications, welding procedures, pressure vessel code stamp certifications -- 1 set of each shall be submitted to the government for review prior to beginning fabrication of the compressor. Pressure vessel test reports -- 1 set for each pressure vessel test. Blue prints: Complete general arrangement, piping and instrumentation drawings -- 3 sets of each shall be submitted to the government for approval no later than 10 weeks after acceptance of the order by the government and selected contractor. Blue prints: final drawings -- 3 sets. Operations and Maintenance manuals -- 3 sets. As built, recommended spare parts, and special tools lists -- 1 set. ON-SITE GOVERNMENT INSPECTION: The government shall perform, at a minimum and prior to delivery, one on-site inspection of the assembled compressor package. The inspection may include, but is not limited to, the review of employee welding certifications and procedures, review of pressure vessel code stamp documentation, start-up and shutdown of the compressor, and control system verification and functionality tests. Other pre-arranged government inspections may be performed during the course of the contract.
