Description

Single award, one year term contract for the Defense Automated Printing Service, Norfolk, VA for the procurement of the Approach, Mech, Fathom, Ashore and Ground Warrior (5 Navy Safety Magazines). The combined magazines will have a total of 26 issues per year, from 12,000 copies to 33,000 copies per issue, printing in 32 pages plus a separate cover in four-color process ink. Finished size of 216 x 279 mm (8-1/2 x 11"), saddle stitched and trimmed 3 sides. Electronic media will be furnished on CD's, Removable, Disk Drives and/or Digital Audio Tape (DAT), IBM Compatible format, the main page lay out is in PageMaker 6.5, with Adobe Illustrator 8.0 and PhotoShop 5.5. The contract requires such operations as offset printing, saddle binding, packing and mail distribution.
