Type of contract: the resulting contract will be a firm fixed price (FFP) IDIQ Supply contract for supplies of various cylinders/container of gases and chemicals. Tanks must be delivered on an on call basis. Company must be able to deliver within 48 hours after the receipt of order. Special mixers must be delivered within 5 working days after receipt of order. Company must have a 24 hour emergency phone number to include weekends and holidays and must be able to deliver within 2 hours if an emergency occurs. This contract is subject to the availability of funds and the anticipated period of performance is one base year and four (4) one-year options beginning October 1, 2001. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is 27 August 2001. The Government's obligation under this requirement is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for the contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
