Description

17. This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The Government intends to procure through Simplified Acquisition Method (commercial items). SIC Code 2819/NAICS 325188; small business size standard 1,000 employees. The product shall be approved by the National Sanitation Foundation's (NSF's) standards and approval processes for aqua ammonia. The aqua ammonia shall be listed by the NSF Standard No. 60 for Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals -- Health Effects. Contract is for a one year period beginning 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. The total estimated amount is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors' requests for this solicitation will be performed through ASFI.
