Description

MARINER WAGE CONSULTING SERVICES. The Military Sealift Command requires consulting services to analyze prevailing wages and fringe benefits to U.S. mariners employed on vessels in Government service. A commercial buy under FAR Part 13 procedures is anticipated. The proposed service requires completion of reports addressing prevailing wages; statistical relationships between compensation levels of various labor categories, ship type and service and skills and duties performed; and recommendations relating to compensation packages. A contract period of approximately three months is anticipated. Contractor must possess skills in basic statistical research and labor economics. Interested parties are requested to provide name, address, phone, fax, e:mail and small business size to the contracting officer. Standard commercial contracts for similar services are also requested. Anticipate release of RFP on or about 31 Aug 01.
