THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT NOW OR IN THE FUTURE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. BASED ON RESPONSES RECEIVED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT, THIS ACQUISITION MAY BE SOLICITED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. NAICS CODE 541330 WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $4 MILLION APPLIES. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego is seeking information to identify contractors able to provide the faculty and administration at Naval Postgraduate School Monterey with technical support services to accomplish research, instructional and other mission related project tasks. The current contract is N00244-97-D-0011. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement has been posted to the NECO web site http://www.neco.navy.mil. All parties are invited to access and review the Draft PWS. Interested parties are reminded that the document is only a DRAFT and is subject to revision before an official solicitation is issued. In order to aid the Government in making a determination, if you are an interested party, provide your company name, point of contact, along with a telephone number and email address. Also state if your company is a large or small business. The following technical capability information shall also be provided:(a) past performance information -- state length of experience on providing the tasks outlined in the DRAFT PWS and also identify the timeframe of the experience (do not submit any experience more than 3 years old); (b) the range of skills and availability of personnel; (c) whether or not you have an office or ability to establish an office within a 20 mile radius of the Naval Postgraduate School; (d) identify the NAICS code and size standard you qualify under. A chart reflecting the fore going information is posted on the FISC website along with the DRAFT PWS. All interested parties shall use this chart to respond by email to Joyce_L_Miller-Corona@sd.fisc.navy.mil no later than 21 September 2001. No more than 3 pages shall be submitted. Telephone and facsimile responses will not be accepted. All information received in response to this sources sought announcement that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the government. It is not the intent of the government to reimburse contractors for the cost of submitting information in response to this announcement.
