Description

McConnell AFB, KS has a need for a contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to inspect, test, maintain, service, and repair the following Halon 1301 Fire Extinguishing Systems to assure their ability to perform the required function and prevent deterioration in value and usability to provide required inspections and testing of all Halon 1301 Fire Suppression Systems. The performance period will be 1 Oct. 01 to 30 Sept 02. This is a basic year and 2 option years. This acquisition is reserved for small business set a-side, and will be awarded on procedures as set forth in FAR Part 12 -- Acquisition of Commercial Items, Past Performance, and the overall best value for the government. The solicitation package will only be available via the government Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov on or around 29 August 01. No paper copies will be distributed. The North American Industry Classification System code assigned to this acquisition is 334290.
