Notice that the General Service Administration, FTS Region 10, 4040 Wheaton Way Suite 111, Bremerton, WA. 98310 intend to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order with Paroscientific Inc. 4500 148th Ave. NE, Redmond, WA 98052 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. For CLIN 0001 Paroscientific Inc. Assembly of MET1 Barometric Pressure Sensors with Intelligent Barometer for pressure measurement, environmental enclosure with Gill pressure Port & VSG-4-BCL connector. This request is considered to be sole source to Paroscientific Inc. therefore; no solicitation will result from this announcement. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. All price quotations shall be submitted to Melinda Carlson, not later than 4:00 P.M., PST, August 28th,2001.
