Description

The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for engineering, maintenance, coordination and testing services in the following task areas: design and installation for three flyable IR missile simulators, modification and operational support for all seven IR missile simulators, and operational support in the design, assembly and testing of microwave antennas, systems and devices, and also in the performance of land based and at sea evaluations of electronic warfare (EW ). The government anticipates award of a cost plus fixed fee term form contract by December 31, 2001. The anticipated period of performance is a basic award of twelve months with four 12-month option periods. The anticipated level of effort is 78,000 hours for the entire effort. This is a follow on to NRL Contract N00014-96-C-2078 that was awarded to Eagle Systems Incorporated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the NRL. A detailed solicitation and statement of work will be posted on NRL's website: http://heron.nrl.navy.mil/contracts/rfplist.htm. NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs. The response date published in this synopsis is the current estimated date. The actual due date for proposals will be stated in the solicitation when issued.
