Description

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to negotiate on other than full and open competitive basis with TRW Inc., Redondo Beach, CA, 90278-1078. The contractor shall provide Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) Multi-Chip Modules (MCMs) which will be used to build electronic circuit boards. The device is a 112 bit ADC capable of operating at a speed of 213 megahertz. The MCM has physical dimensions of 2.0 X 1.5 X 1.7 inches and has 12 pins around its perimeter to provide for electrical connections. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract is contemplated with a minimum of 25 to be ordered and a maximum of 150 to be ordered. The period of performance will be from October 1, 2001 through December 1, 2003. This notice is considered to be sole source and therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement.
