Description

Furnish all labor, materials, supplies, transportation, and facilities to perform all work required to collect longleaf pine cones on Fort Benning, Georgia, transport the cones, process the seed from the cones, and store the seed. The purpose of the contract is to collect longleaf pine seed at no cost to the Government. The contractor will retain a percentage of the seed collected in return for collection, processing, and storage services. The seed returned to Fort Benning will be used to grow seedlings to be outplanted on the Fort Benning Military Reservation. The Contractor ,which returns the highest percentage of seed to Fort Benning, will be awarded the contract. Performance period is date of award thru 15 Nov 01.
