Description

PROVIDE BACKFLOW PREVENTER SERVICES for Fort Hood, Texas. Contract Specialist, Roberta M. Alicea (254)287-5088. Doreen P. Wright, Contracting Officer, (254)287-2434. (Site Code DAKF48). The government intends to conduct this acquisition as a simplified acquisition for a commercial service in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This acquisition is set aside for 8(a) sources. The contractor shall provide maintenance and certification of backflow preventer assemblies at various locations on Fort Hood, T exas. The contractor shall provide licensed plumbers who are certified to work on backflow assemblies. This requirement is for a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The tentative issue date for Request for Quote (RFQ) No. DAKF48-01-Q- 0077 is 27August 2001 and the tentative date for receipt of quotes is 11 September 2001.
