Description

This is a modification to a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information here and in a previous CBD announcement. A quote is being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number N61339-01-T-0095 was issued as a request for quote, incorporating the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This solicitation shall be awarded on a competitive basis to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest bid. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 235990. The requirements for CLIN 0001, 18' x 18' Vertical Lift Door Including Installation, Qty. 1, are revised due to an incorrect windload requirement contained in the combined synopsis/solicitation. The correct windload requirement for the door is 50PSF. Delivery/installation is still no later than 31 October, 2001 with acceptance upon completed installation. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Installation is in Building SP-366 at NAS Norfolk. The Government onsite representative to coordinate site visits and for technical issues is Mike Trapkin, (757)444-1025. A COMPLETED COPY OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE INCLUDED WITH THE QUOTE: FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.212-7000.
