Description

Furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with replacement of a new Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) to replace the existing PLC that controls the operation of two emergency gen erators at Gutherie Medical Clinic at Fort Drum, NY. PRINCIPAL FEATURES include but are not limited to: All new equipment will be fully compatible with the existing system. provide engineering services to program the new PLC to properly control the existing generators that will include but is not limited to: sensing condition of commercial power, starting, s ynchronizing and paralleling the two generators upon failure of commercial power. Controlling existing electricity-operated circuit breakers to pick up or shed load.Sensing return of commercial power. Programming shall provide start-up time as required and delayed re-transfer as required by national Electric Code and by generator manufacture s recommendations. Contractor must be an authorized Kohler Representative. This procurement is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000 and will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235310. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 18 September 2001.
