Description

This is a combined SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this Notice. This announcement constitutes a request for quotations and is the only solicitation that will be issued; no written solicitation will be issued. The Solicitation number is DTFH61-01-Q-00170 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The North American Product Classification System Code is 333415 and the small business standard is 750 employees and under. THIS REQUIREMENT IS AN UNRESTRICTED PURCHASE, ALL BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED. The Federal Highway Administration has a requirement for TWO (2) LIEBERT MODEL BE061G-AAES CHALLENGER 3000 ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEMS AS DESCRIBED BELOW. System Accessories include: 5 Ton Downflow Glycool system; additional Glycool Coil with Three Way Valve and Insulating Piping; Comparator Control Circuit for Activation of Glycool Operation; Advanced Microprocessor-Based Temperature and Humidity Controls; Audible and Visual Alarms; Factory Balanced Evaporator Motor & Blower Package; Scroll Compressor; Electric Reheat; Steam Generating Canister Humidifier; Locking Disconnect Switch; Condensate Pump; 4" 20% Filter Package; 2 HP Motor; Smoke Detector; 460 Volt 3 Phase Input Power. ONE (1) 95 DEGREES F AMBIENT FAN CYCLING DRYCOOLER MODEL DSO109A/SYSTEM including factory wired internal controls; single 1.5hp Pump; 8.8 gallon Expansion Tank; including factory wired Drycooler Disconnect Switch; and 460 Volt 3 phase Input Power. Services shall include: One Year Warranty Covering Parts and Workmanship; and Factory Supervised Warranty Inspection/Warranty Start-Up and Basic Operator Training. TWO(2) MRI MINI-REMOTE including remote monitoring of one Liebert Environmental Unit?s operating status. Services shall include: One Year Warranty Covering Parts and Workmanship; Factory Supervised Warranty Inspection/Warranty Start-Up and Basic Operator Training. Delivery shall be made to 6300 Georgetown Pike, Room T-106, McLean, Virginia 22101. The following FAR clauses are applicable by statute to this solicitation: FAR 52.213-4, Terms and Conditions -- Simplified Acquisitions (Other than Commercial Items), 52.247-34, F.o.b. Destination.
