Description

The South Texas Veterans Healthcare System, Audie L. Murphy Division, has a requirement for bloood fluid warmers. The Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, TX, proposes to award a sole source consignment contract with 1 base year and (4) one year options for renewal to SIMS Level One Inc. SIMS is to provide six (6) Blood Fluid Warmer Pressure Infusion Systems at no charge, in exchange for the consignment of Fluid Warming sets, part numbers l-70 and D-50.Blood fluid warmers must allow infusion at a rate of 75ml/hr to 60,000ml/hr with a temperature of 42 degrees C. Each warmer consisting of 2 pressure chambers with each automatically pressurized at 300mm mercury minimum and be equipped with an automatic on/off switch. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.501(a)(2)(I), test program, using simplified acquisition procedures. Interested persons may identify interest and ability to respond to this requirement. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later that 5:00pm, CST, September 5, 2001.
