Description

The Department of Justice (DOJ), intends to award a sole source purchase order to Kastle Systems, LLC (Kastle), of Arlington, Virginia, using simplified acquisition procedures. Kastle is the provider of all the monitioring & maintnenance services for the Department's access and egress system(s) for the Government in the building located @ 1100 L Street, NW, Washington, DC. This system is compatible with the lessor's controlled building and elevator access. DOJ has a need for these services through the end of September, 2001. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation will be issued. Responses to this announcement must be received on or before August 27, 2001, 12:00 p.m. (eastern time) to be considered. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement [see Note 22].
