Description

The U. S. Department of Commerce, intends to contract with Bruker Instruments, Billerica, MA for maintenance on a DMX-500 (BH083696) Instrument. Period of Performance from 10/1/01 to 9/30/02. The Contractor shall furnish all materials excluding consumables, travel expenses, labor, tools and equipment necessary to provide full maintenance and emergency services on the DMX-500 Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer located at the National Ocean Service Center for Coastal Environmental Health and Biomolecular Research (CCEHBR), Charleston Laboratory, Charleston, SC. Contractor shall provide a minimum of one visit per year devoted to routine system maintenance, checking system calibrations, system software maintenance changing filters and other routine maintenance tasks. Contractor shall provide unlimited on call service visits for repair parts excluding consumables. Repair parts must be functionally identical to the original parts and meet or exceed all technical specifications and requirements of the original parts as determined by the manufacturer. The intended procurement is for services for which the Government intends to acquire from one manufacturer under the authority of 41USC253(c)(1). Any business sources able to provide the specific service referenced, are encourage to respond to this announcement within 7 days after it's publication.
