Description
DESC>This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service plans to solicit a multiple award single source simplified acquisition purchase from Northwest Archaeological Associates, Seattle, Washington and Wessen and Associates, Seattle, Washington for cultural resource investigations for Habitat Conservancy Plan in Regon 1 of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Cultural Resource Team, Sherwood, Oregon. This acquisition is approved for multiple award single source purchase order in accordance with FAR 6.302-3 (2) (b) (ii) and 2(ii). All interested sources must identify all tasks to be performed for by submitting pricing data and an accurate description of the investigations for cultural resource overview, context statements and expectation statements, archival and literature research, cultural resources survey, and site documentation and evaluation to be performed, which shall include all costs. If there are no responses received by close of business September 17, 2001, a Firm Fixed PRICE purchase order using Simplified Acquisition procedures will be awarded to the above named sources. This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8713 and $2.5 million average annual sales receipts. The cultural investigations and survey reports shall be performed for the Cultural Resource Team, Sherwood, Oregon. $_________ Total Price. The statements for cultural resource overviews shall state description of tasks and methods involved for performing investigations and reports plus all cost in association. Attention: Anan Raymond. The provision at 52.212-1 Instruction to Offers -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition, Submit signed and dated offers to the office specified in this solicitation at or before the exact time specified in this solicitation, offers must show the quotation number; the time specified in the quotation for receipt of offers, the name and address and telephone number of the offeror; price and discount terms; warranty information, if applicable. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition as follows: The offeror must provide the specified research tasks for proper identification of the pollen core and reports. Award: Offers will be received on an all or none basis. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror conforming with the quotation that will be the best value to the government considering all cost. All quotes must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
