Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Reno, Nevada area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center (CCC) dated August 2001." This is a firm-fixed unit price requirements type contract. The services are estimated to be 80% male and 20% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 18,250 for the two-year base period and 9,125 inmate days for option years one, two and three, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about September 17, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
