Description

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); the number is DAAB07-01-Q-B021. 3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. 4. This acquisition is intended to be a sole source to Lechmotoren Gmbh. (Altenstadt, Germany) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c ) (1), Only One Responsible Source, FAR 6.302-1 (b) (1). This acquisition is not a set-aside. 5. The line items are as follows: 0001AA Overhaul and Repair of 1 each Patriot Electric Power Plant III (EPP III) Generator Set (NSN: 6115-12-337-8494) IAW the Statement of Work, which is furnished as a separate electronic attachment. 6. There are no special requirements for items purchased under 0001AA. 7. Shipments are to be FOB Origin. Commercial packaging shall be utilized. Repaired items shall be shipped to: SR ARCENT TRNG SCTY KU TF PATRIOT MATERIEL MGT CENTER CL IX CAMP DOHA, KUWAIT KU APO, AE 09889-0001 DODAAC: W55XGJ Delivery shall be within 60 days after contract award. 8. Applicable to this solicitation is FAR clause: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. 9. Not applicable to this solicitation is FAR clause: 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. 10. Offerors are required to complete and submit a copy of the FAR provision: 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; this provision is furnished as a separate electronic attachment. 11.
