Description

Provide all labor, parts and material to maintain boiler burners, controls, instrumentation and related equipment for preventive maintenance and emergency repairs during normal working hours, five days per week on four (4) boiler burners and related equipment to VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN for FY 2002 with options to renew for two additional 12-month periods. NAICS code 811310, $5 million. The procurement is 100% set aside for Small Business firms. This procurement is conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Negotiations and FAR Part 15, Negotiations. The Government may award a contract on the basis of initial offers received, without discussions. Therefore, each initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a cost/price and technical standpoint. The Government may award a single contract contingent upon best value and the offeror's ability to meet all requirements.
